Anyone ever buy a (branded vehicle)?Looking at a 2024 suburban 3.0 diesel with 17,000 miles for 59K.It’s a gorgeous beast heavy on the options.Still has 1 1/2 years and 19,000 mile of factory warranty.Motor was replaced at 69 miles then oil pan at 9000 miles then a couple sensors at 15,000 and 16,000 then a wire to wire fix at 16,500.A couple of other minor fixes during it’s life.It was then bought back and gone thru thoroughly. Also inspected by dealer.Lemon law is a one time thing so that’s off the table. Not sure if an extended warranty is available. I told myself no but now I’m having second thoughts.Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

With a vehicle that new and all those problems, I think I would pass.

No way man. When the manufacturer figures it’s cheaper to buy it back than to fix it, that’s all you need to know. If it was an older lemon with some proven history it might be different.

Hard pass. I worked at a dealership that sold lemon laws. Their "inspection" is no different than any other used car inspection. GM looked at it, couldn't duplicate whatever problem it has and called it fixed.
Best thing for that truck is to get totalled in a wreck.

Your instincts were correct the first time when you kept on walking; don't second guess yourself now. That vehicle from what you states sounds like a build on Monday with end of production run parts just thrown together. If GM bought it back, they're not looking to put anymore money into it! It's amazing how fast the warranty can run out waiting for replacement part availability.
