Anyone recycle brass? Cleaning out a whare house we got a lot of it. wondering if its worth anything.

Thanks, most of the material is in sheets and old tubing. Company has an old mine that was once a mill shop and alot of junk in it. We are cleaning it out this week.

Sort by red and yellow, red is worth a bit more

You can sell sheets of brass and possibly the tubing, for many times more than scrap to the crafts market.

The majority of people don't know how to sort it properly, expecialy since material specs have changed over the years...

Sell the obvious scrap as scrap, but the tubing/sheets/bars/blocks etc. is worth a LOT more as material if you can store it and take the time to sell it that way. Try contacting an industrial materials supply house, it will have increased value due to being already shipped to Alaska.
