Turtledale trapper Joined: Mar 2020 W NY	When using any of the mints a little goes a long way. Ive used honey and like it. Nice and sticky, I mix about one part honey to three parts Castor I make poplar bud oil myself and have used it mixed with castor and straight. If you have muskrat in you waters your sets will be gagged with them if set shallow. But good additive for deeper hind leg catches The others I haven't used NYSTA, NTA, FTA, life member Erie county trappers assn.,life member Catt.county trappers

Coon Duke trapper Joined: Jun 2010 PA	One thing I always consider when mixing any essential oil with castor is what nontargets will it catch. I’d muskrats are a welcome catch the sweeter type oils work well. Oils that may attract otter are another thing to consider.
