The kids and I picked about five gallons between today and yesterday. We're supposed to get some rain so hopefully it will get better.

Anybody else getting any mushrooms?

Good eating. Haven't seen any here and yes some good rain and heat definitely would help.

It's been so dry here for so long. I haven't seen mushrooms of any kind. We were supposed to get 2 inches of rain last night, but it all went south of the Twin Cities.

Wife told me to put on clean socks every day. I tried, but after 7 days, I could hardly get my shoes on.

The rain was definitely welcome. My wife and kids are heading to the timber right now to see if they can pick some more. Rick, I think you're right about this weekend. I'd like to get a couple gallons of dehydrated shrooms for the rest of the year.

I've only ever cooked pheasant backs one way, sauteed in butter, and really enjoy them that way. My wife's favorite mushroom.

I think pheasant backs taste like cucumbers. I love pickles but don't like cucumbers. Only ever fried them in butter
