It's been so dry here for so long. I haven't seen mushrooms of any kind. We were supposed to get 2 inches of rain last night, but it all went south of the Twin Cities.
Wife told me to put on clean socks every day. I tried, but after 7 days, I could hardly get my shoes on.

Morels are done here, as I am not able to woods walk a friend brought fresh Pheasant backs, looking for help to cook up some, any help would be nice.Morels would have been better. I've only ever cooked pheasant backs one way, sauteed in butter, and really enjoy them that way. My wife's favorite mushroom.

Big Sam, cooked up some in butter with some garlic and herb seasoning tasted real good with the smoked pork loin, good chow right there. Sounds like a good meal. I just ate a plate of morels washed down with cold beer. Put me in a good mood!
