We’ve heard of this stuff before… guess it’s getting worse in parts of Africa. It’s not spread through casual contact like flu, cold, covid. It’s transmitted through bodily fluids,,, like aids. Which ironically appeared at the same time as Ebola.
Been lots of theories about aids being born in labs Possibly Ebola as well.
Are people really that dumb in those regions?? There is a vaccine. Don’t have ( relations) with sick people,, and don’t touch their snot, blood?? Other than that, I don’t know much about it. It’s rapidly spreading ,,, folks are panicking.
Stand by your principles, Stand by your guns, and victory complete and permanent is sure at last. Abraham Lincoln

I was in Tanzania in February. I agree with what Keith said. Very much a third world society in Tanzania and Zanzibar where we visited.
In Zanzibar, we stayed a few nights in a nice hotel on the shores of the Indian Ocean. Fishing boats were only a few yards off the shoreline. They fish at night using long nets. The boats are only have sails to power them. One morning at breakfast I saw a kid jump off a boat with a basket and swim to shore at our motel. A chef met him on the beach to examine and negotiate for their catch. I am certain the fish had never been iced.
The motel had a uniformed security guard posted on the beach. He patrolled about 200 feet of shoreline. He was armed with a sling shot! Yes, a sling shot!
In the public market there were all types of meat, fish, veggies and fruit, all covered in thousands of flies One could purchase any and every part of an animal. Entire digestive tracts hung from pegs on display. No pork. Beef, goat, and lamb. No ice and no refrigeration. As the day wears on, the prices drop with the quality of the meat and fish. Locals can only afford to shop in the afternoons. Restaurants shop in the morning.
How anybody lives in those cities is beyond me. It would kill us in two weeks.
I saw hundreds of refrigerators for sale. All were used and imported from Europe. I expect they worked with old Freon and could not be resold in Europe. At least appliances are recycled when obsolete. Voltage was 220.

Well, doesn't ebola cause people to exhibit bleeding, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.? I think it's much easier to spread ebola (rather than AIDS) due to contaminated surfaces from all the fluids infected people are expelling.

It crossed over from people eating raw monkey meat apparantly. I like my monkey meat well done.

Incidentally, malnourishment in early childhood is a major cause of diminished mental capabilities.
