If I can drop a seed or two every 2-3",
How far apart should the "rows" be?

The only mixer I've thought of is sand. Other?
Pellet lime?

I know I could just throw it...It's only money.

Can you narrow a drill that much?

clover likes lime so that would kill 2 birds with one stone, last time I spun clover on I "diluted" it with pelletized lime.

Never drilled clover but just broad casted it. You don't want it to deep.

Broadcasting is what I have done in the past also.

Soil contact 1/4" deep or less is what the instructions say for what I have planted. Broadcast on tilled soil and then compacted works.

As stated above. Broadcast on well tilled soil the either use a culti packer or even drag a few 2 x 6's behind your 4 wheeler or sxs.

Off the top of my head I’d say maybe 2 inches and that may not give you enough of a final stand depending on the clover you usually start with around 15 to 20 pounds an acre.

depends on where the seed box is on your drill my old drill it was in the front and i extended the tubes to drop behind the opening discs my new drill has the seed box behind but is not gear feed which planted to heavy so i mixed wheat in to slow down the feed rate 8-10 lbs/acre gave good coverage and cultipacked
never broadcast clover but for rapeseed again i used wheat rye or oats layer of grain layer of rape/radish whatever, the small seed works to the bottom plus you can see the grain flying out so you know where its going opening on the spreader maybe 1/4 inch again cultipacker maybe an old spike tooth harrow set to disturb the soil mite work Either way record your mix and ground speed so you can make adjustments when you plant again

It was tempting to just throw it and get ahead of this rain front.
Will now have time until dry.
I have pellet lime and sand, wild flower and yellow clover.
A little sweet corn too.
Coons and deer like me.

Annual rye worked real good here in the past.
Single stand reseeding itself.

Feed mill guy said 8-10 lbs to acre,
and mix 8 to 1.

Spike tooth junked out but the springer is hanging on.

Always broadcast in past. Now it's tinker time.
