Family Search literally has million of records pertaining to the Revolutionary War from enlistment records to land grants and pension payments. They have thousands of first hand accounts. If you like history, it's a phenomenal resource and it's completely free.

You can just pull up your pedigree and quickly check all your many great grandfathers from that time period.
