But...the customer figures it's cheaper than a new 60,000.00 truck

here that truck is worth 10K fixed up

he owns it so 6K on this truck or 60K on a new one that will look like that in 15 years

if he can get 10 more out of this one on 6K he is money well ahead.

That would be in the scrap yard here. I wouldn't spend the money to fix that. Lol

I'd recommend some well points. That's just a typical day for me. But I also have 4 8"" and probably a dozen 6" pumps at my disposal.

We have several well points throughout the site. Fortunately as we hit these underground pockets of water they don’t seem last too long before they drain out. I get more water out of the way dipping out with the bucket than the pumps suck out. Just an annoyance of the job. Hit solid rock a few times that had to be blasted or hammered out.

How many miles are on that pickup truck? In 1973 I bought a brand new Dodge Power Wagon. Came to find out they were made out of the steel imported from Japan. It took about 6 years and thee whole truck pretty much looked like those rocker panels look. The truck cost 3,200 dollars back then.

Thats alot of work.
