One of the things that my dad left when he passed was a very fast zero turn mower. So if you want your kid to look forward to mowing, get a fast zero turn mower.

It is funny when I tell my son the yard does not need mowing and he is disappointed. He gets aggravated if I do the mowing now.

I know if my dad could see this he would laugh.

How many lies will people believe before they realize their own idiocy?

I had to promise my kid a morning of fishing to get him to mow.

Mine wants to mow just using the push mower but his mamma and grandma say no, he'll cut his toes off. He's 11 now and I think old enough and big enough but I know I ain't winning this this one.

My son was excited when I had him on my zero turn when he was 6. That fades fast when they realize it is work. My son is almost 12 and he grumbles when I tell him to cut the grass.

My son was delegated to mow when he was about 12, used a push mower...no he didn't cut anything off...first time he did a lousy rush job, trust me I'm not anal about cutting the grass but this was bad....so I told him now you get to do it again, lol
He grumbled but did, and he never did a crap job again!... grin

If the kid can walk and chew gum he'll be fine...lol

I made 5 bucks every time I mowed I was probably 7-8

push mower , if you were old enough to start it you were old enough to run it.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I came home to mine mowing in road gear and mowing OVER a sapling and cutting it off at the ground. He hasn't mowed since. To be fair he was probably 10.

I been meaning to buy him a Forest Gump mower for him to beat up and just never got around to it.

We got 2.00 to mow a lawn. Used the home owners

Mower and gas...around 1969-1970

Coke was .10 cents

Funny bones ...08 cents

Penny candy

Mcdonalds cheese burgers .20 cents

So 2.00 went pretty faah back then
