Of the couple hundred or so bobcats that I have seen, I have never seen one this orange and no spots or stripes. Ears are definitely like a bobcat,, but the body threw me. It’s eluded the cameras from a whole body shot.
Few years ago I encountered a mountain lion den in Colorado and the kittens had white ears. Made me think

Yes Randy, cougar ears in back are colored the same way, as are tigers too.
But the shape of cougar ears, size, and placement on the head are different. The shape of the head is different to me, too. To me, a totally different look than bobcat. IMHO.
Anyway , I hope you can sometime add your unique cat to your fur collection.

Too bad the pic didn’t get a good view of the tail. That would have settled things.

Too bad the pic didn’t get a good view of the tail. That would have settled things. It’s managed to avoid my cameras pretty well. Most are very crappy images and all been partial body quarters away Chunk of salmon wrapped in aluminum foil ball should get its attention

I’m leaning toward bobcat too. The shape of the ears.
