If one of your parents was born in Mexico you can become a naturalized citizen. Other than that, if you are American born but have been a legal resident of Mexico for at least 5 years you may apply for naturalization. If you marry a Mexican citizen you can apply after two years of residency.

Hey hombres...think about it. Cancun, Mazatlan, Acapulco. Great fishing! I've seen more bobcats than the south has possums in the Sonoran desert.

Did I mention the tequila? You WOULD have to put up with a bunch of Canadians in the winter months though....kind of the price of living there. grin

Anybody living in Texas shouldn't even have to apply. As former Mexican territory it should come with the landscape.

Mexicans seem to have a lot of benefits on this side of the border

Why would I want to become a citizen of a third world country?

Yeah, yeah, I know that term is no longer politically correct. In lib speak Mexico is an "upper-middle-income developing country." LOL

Eh...wot?

I'd probably have conveniently and strategically located Hammocks myself if I lived in that heat! Living at 8000' in the Rockies, and summers in Alaska keeps me moving and motivated (and the exercise helps to).

Savell and the ColdspringKidd are clearly different people as seen in these relatively recent photographs.

Savell clearly doesn't wear eye glasses, while the ColdspringKidd clearly does.

They are as distinctly different as Superman and Clark Kent.

if it's so great, why do all the Mexicans head north to live?

Here's some more indisputable proof, that they are indeed different people.

My guess would be for the much better paying jobs. Doubt whether they come up north just to be called names and looked down upon.
