I’ve been having to stay later at nights to break down the meat cutting equipment at the store because we had a fella left.
Anyway,,, we have an old phone hooked up to a blue tooth speaker that has pandora o it.
I found a rockabilly station on pandora and I’m like dang!! How did I not know about these other artists.
I already knew about cash, Elvis, little Richard ( yup considered rockabilly) Carl Perkins, link Wray, chuck berry, buddy holly and the stray cats,etc.

Tons more artists… I’m discovering a guy called Charlie feathers. Another great tune “ cup of coffee and a cigarette “ by a guy named Glen Glenn

there may have been some small local late night radio shows dedicated to it but it may have largely fallen to bar scene and small venues


there are many worlds of music that most people know little to nothing about.
often localized sounds familiar to a city

would anyone even know what funk was if Prince hadn't made a little of it main stream.
