Last night brushing my teeth there was a tick on the sink handle. Within 15 minutes I had another on my shoulder under my shirt crawling. Went to bed and wife jumped up turned the light on becuse she had one crawling on her. I just about got to sleep and did the same with one crawling on my arm. I woke up at 5am with one between my index finger and thumb . I guess I felt it crawling in my sleep grabbed it and than woke up enough to realize it.

Now thats only 5 ticks not a lot considering my daughter got 28 walking down a gravel road in 15 min not geting into any weeds . What is shocking to me is they all came from in the house. We had been in town and the fair all day not out in the fields or in the woods. All the dogs have tick meds on them but I guess its possible the dogs brought in ticks that fell off in the house before the treatment killed them.

Seems like ticks are geting worse each year.

Probably some Bill Gates engineered ticks to spread Alpha Gal disease to turn us into a meatless society? That's my conspiracy theory for today....

you got a cat or dog in the house? Something is carrying them in. Kids maybe. Better be spraying or calling someone to. Then start de bugging pets and younguns. You don't need lyme disease on top of MS

Neighbor lady repeated to me again last week, about the opossum's ability to consume huge numbers of ticks. For the right dollar amount I would be happy to ship you one or several. G.

Thats the thing. All the animals have tick treatment cats and dogs. . 3 different types as an experiment with the dogs. Eash dog has a different brand so we can judge what seems to work the best. The stuff my wifes dog is on im not liking much. I have found a few dug in on her that were dead. I prefer them not to get dug in where they can transmit crap to them. Knowing that im guessing they could be coming in on her dog . That would make the most since with the wifes dog spending the most time in our bedroom.

Probably your dogs. Medicine only works once they start sucking as far as I know. Sneakers and pant legs they cling to. I use barn boot working seems they have a hard time crawling up them boots. I come in and strip and throw my work clothes right in the washing machine. Hot/Hot and a cup of Awesome cleaner and Dawn dishsoap. Never had a tick come out of the dryer alive.
Tall grass always has them here. Pick em off working everyday. Never had a tick disease i know of in 60 years.

Doesn't seem like they've been nearly as bad as usual here this spring.

Don’t know if the above link will work, but I spray my yard probably twice a year for skeeters and a nice side effect is also no ticks. Dog won’t be picking them up and dragging them inside…

I think a lot of them come in with the dogs. I've picked live ones off my dog in the past. I don't think those spot things you put on their back repel them, just might kill them later. I like to spray my dog with Adams. That seems to repel and kill them.

Got a photo from a speeding camera in the mail. I immediately sent it back - way too expensive and really poor quality.

Tried the pill once on my bassett hound nearly cost her her life. Vet wouldn't admit it but said she had gotten in some poison . I gave her the pill the night before. Spent 3 days in hospital pushing iv to prevent her liver from shutting down.
