I have almost found myself capable of assault on neighbors who willfully plant female cottonwoods next to our farm! The fluff has a charge that makes it stick to fruit if it gets close.

I bought a roll of nylon window screen and cut pieces to cover the air intakes on my A.C. I use magnets to hold it in place. When it gets covered with cotton wood seed I just take it off, brush it off, and put it back on. Works great. Thanks for the tip.

They grow everywhere here. Last two weeks it looked like it was snowing. As kids, when it wind-rowed up on the side of the road we would light it at night and watch it burn fast and blue.

When it gets covered with cotton wood seed I just take it off, brush it off, and put it back on. Works great. No cotton wood but for some reason they placed the dryer vent over the top of the ac, maybe that would work for it as well.
