As I was leaving Mon and Dad’s tonight I saw some kids playing flashlight tag a couple houses down the street.

I do. Catching firefly's in a glass mayonnaise jar,

Kick the can, whiffle ball, throwing rotten eggs at cars from behind a hill, until the shrriff caught us, lol.

Tying tin cans to the ends of kite string the then placing it across the road about 2 foot high. It was close but we never got caught. As a kid I put a lot of miles on my bike. Except for the Amish kids one just doesn't see that today.

Being 1 of 4 boys in the family and being raised around cattle remember having sword fights with the old time 5 D cell cattle prods, yea,we were rowdy but learned to avoid the end of the prod

Red rover was the bomb. Nothing like clotheslining the neighbor kid at full speed.

Took 8 coke cans ..cut both ends off...tape them all together

To make a tube. The bottom can just had the top only ,cut off.

Then poke a hole in the bottom can...squirt some of Dad's

Lighter fluid in the top... Put fingah ovah the hole and spin that

Tube about 5 times in a big circle...drop a tennis ball down the tube

Stand the tube up...put match to the hole...BOOM !!!!

Played Mumblypeg and Marbles every lunch break.All boys had a pocket knife and a sack or marbles,except some of the "City Kids".
