It’s late now,but I grilled venison round steak. Solid choice! I haven't killed one yet this summer. I haven’t either….last fall’s deer was plenty…

Wasn't unheard of north of the 45th parallel, for locals to open season at start of summer camps.

Mr Les, don't worry, I won't tell anyone. Then again, as I recall you killed a monster, so maybe it lasted this long. My girlfriend won’t eat it, so I’m working on what’s left…. I took a pile of it with me to SD on this gig I’m on. I grill every time I cook.

I use to survive on beer, cigarettes and women…now venison and lefse with an occasional side of lutefisk…

… I ate two pickled quail eggs and a slim Jim … Tabasco flavor… better than whatever kind of mixed up Yankee casserole that was in the oven lol Men need calories and protein. I'm not surprised that a Johnny Reb can survive on a couple quail eggs. Good for you, buddy!
