I'm pretty sure you're supposed to start with 1 lb of bacon but only 1/2 makes it to the beans.

Thats funny cause I usually always start out with one pound of bacon and all but 3 or 4 slices go in. Just never can go wrong with bacon.

I like some of the Bush Grillin Beans. Just plain pork and beans are just, "Blah".


Got a photo from a speeding camera in the mail. I immediately sent it back - way too expensive and really poor quality.

My recipe for cowboy beans
I like some pork, either left over pork roast or some bacon
2-3 cans Pinto beans
1 can Cattalini beans (white kidney)
small onion diced
small green pepper diced
5tbl Barbeque sauce Ilike either homemade or Sweet Baby Rays original
1 tsp chili powder
3/4 tbl Brown sugar
1 can Diced Fire Roasted tomatoes or Stewed Tomatoes
2-3 cloves Garlic
Saute the peppers,,onions, garlic
Put it all in a pot and let simmer for a bit
Can also add a cap full or two of Liquid Smoke if desired

I don't remember what my dads recipe is but I know we do beef and pork. we also made our own rice dressing mix with some rabbit liver and kidney and that was awesome.


listen money cant buy happiness but it can buy traps, fishing lures and guns witch is practically the same thing.

Add a tablespoon of horseradish to this and about the same as my recipe.
