Dry!! Peas are about done. Broccoli is done. Supplemental watering is just about done, down to about the last 15 gallons of stored rainwater, other 485 already been applied. Seeds planted for fall garden need rain before they can sprout. And on yesterdays dog walk I saw the tile opening down the road has quit draining. Just kind of a green mossy spot now. G.

Planted sweet potatoes and okra this weekend. Should have tomatoes and corn in 3 weeks. Onions are falling. Potatoes are finishing. squash and zucchini this week. Beans are running. Planting Brussel sprouts in two weeks. Seeds for fall crops going in the trays in two weeks.

Kept everything watered and fertilized. Been a good year so far.

Big heat coming this week. little worried about tomato and bean blossoms.

I saw some people that had sheep were using the wool for a mulch/ground cover becuse the price was so low it didnt pinched out to transport it from their rual property to market and this is how they made. a use for it. I didnt hear about the bennifits other than it being an organic we'd barrier and help hold moisture.
But would like to hear your experience.

planted everything very late this season because of the uncooperative weather, everything froze in the end of May. Haven't had any rain in three weeks and it's been above 30C/85F the whole time. Greens, cabbage and parsley mostly got killed by the heat, I'll retry in mid-July. Radishes struggled. beans, squash, tomatoes and potatoes are doing very well. Colorado beetles, too. Planted 50 varieties of tomatoes this year.

Doing well so far but last night we had rain with high wind and now the corn is leaning over, not completely knocked down so I think it will recover if it doesn’t get hit again
