I think 3 but only the three blade jackknife that my dad gave me in I think 1970 the main blade had property of the marine corps on it, don’t know what happened to it just reached into my pocket one day and it was gone

A Bowie Dad made in the 70's A Custom skinner he had made for me and my brother (who lost his) OG Pop's hook bladed Klien tools knife i put mammoth ivory handles on Scharade USA mad Improved Muskrat
My Daily carry Kershaw one handed knife I found in a parking lot
A friend of mine and I were waking back from fishing, when we were freshman in high school and he found a rusted up Klein Tools hooked knife in a newly seeded yard. He didn't want it and gave it to me. I still have it. It was the most useful knife I had in my teens. I stripped bark, shaped sticks and cut down trees up to 6" in diameter with it. That steel took a very sharp edge. It has a clear red plastic handle, with a big metal ring sticking out of the base. I've seen identical ones on EBay. Keith

I have never lost a knife, but have left several laying where I last used them. Side of creeks, stuck in a log......

maybe a dozen I got one back probably 20 years after I lost it.
an old timer one of the USA old timers , they were going through my great aunts house if she found something cleaning she would put it in one of a few decorative pots with lids around the house . she passed in July 2024 , in Oct 2025 I was visiting the house and my cousin who owns it now she opened up this pot and asked if I knew what any of this was.
well my dad had a knife in there , I had a knife and a compass in there , and there were 3-4 of the compasses my uncle carried but he is dead. some 20ga slugs a few rounds of 22lr we hunted from her house so anything we ever lost in a couch cushion was in that jar , probably intending that she would give it to use next time we visited and she always forgot.
she was a child of the depression she saved so many things.
we had a buck contest one year , no one shot a buck but we had all put 20 bucks in the envelope , it sat in her China hutch for a few years , and she said I found this envelope of money in the China hutch labeled buck contest , we remembered but couldn't even remember what year it was so we decided she should just have it and she refused so we agreed to buy beer for everyone with it in town the next day.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Never lost one. We didn't have much when I grew up. Anything I had was precious. Still have my Cub Scout/Boy Scout Knife.
Only lost one, And yes I still have my Boy Scout Kabar sheath knife and purple handled plum axe form my Boy Scout days. Still use the axe every winter cutting kindling for the wood stove. Over 55 years still carrying the same 3 bladed Puma pocket knife.
