Anyone use them or put your hands on them I know there china junk like duke and Bridger. Just curious if the quality I use mostly dukes don’t mind changing and adjusting traps. The prices on these seem to good to be true

They are fine, I had Hammer weld me some mods on a couple dozen a few years back. I was not a fan of the dogless system. Not nearly as durable as the Monty dogless system they're modeled after.

If I had it to do over I'd get the regular dog on version and modify them accordingly

I have used the dog proofs for several years. Good traps in my opinion. And the clean out on the bottom is nice to have also.

tried them many years back the dogproof are good Also tried the 2's and 3's Personally I found the springs way to heavy they miced 90 thousands more then the vic;s monty's and northwoods i used are they usable yes but i don't have 75 lb. coyotes here so I don't need a super heavy springed trap If I were to buy again I would check out the duke #4 coilsprings at least the ones i own are a 6 1/2 jaw spread and the 4 coils are similar sized not added on to regular 2 coil traps IMHO this makes a balanced easy to set trap which holds well

I was thinking of getting those then I found a company in Louisiana that sell 450s for 16$ and duke #1 1/2s for 8 bucks. not sure what y'all prices are but I found that my place has pretty cheap traps compared to other places that I've checked. let me know if there are cheaper ones that are the same if not better than duke.

listen money cant buy happiness but it can buy traps, fishing lures and guns witch is practically the same thing.

They are a bare bones rough around the edges northwoods copy, the dogless is northwoods with the monty pan. IMO the best of both.

As said they are rough so if you can live with they work just fine. They will need tuning and set up to your liking, the jaw faces in particular.

I like them as a budget base trap to build into a really nice trap.

I seen the number threes for 100 a dozen but worried about getting the pan tension right on a doggless

Not recommending this brand of trap but once you know how to set the pan tension it not hard and you only need to do it once

That was true for Monty's, not true for these. Dogless pan post/ears bends after most catches and requires adjustment
