I went to my 50th last year with my wife. It was OK, but when I saw the guy that sucker punched me coming out of the locker room in 1974 I really wanted to return the favor. I guess good sense prevailed. The fact that I didn't take care of that business 51 years ago still kind of haunts me though...lol.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

We have had a reunion every 5 years except once early on when we skipped one. The last was our 60th. I have missed only one.
We were the 1st class from a new consolidated school, a bigger school and a smaller one. Still small by most standards as our class was 90. After the 8th grade, I had a choice of the small or bigger school. I went to the bigger for college prep reasons. The split of my 8th grade class was about 50/50. So when we consolidated for our senior year, we were back together again.
Some of my best friends even now were some of my classmates. I look forward to seeing those that come to the reunions. As we have gotten older, a core group of us that live within an hour or so of each other get together for dinner every year. About half of us are still kicking and about half of us attend the reunions and/or the annual get togethers.
I have been to some weddings and I have been to some funerals. As long as I am able, I will go to our reunions as long as we have them.

I am from the class of 1964 we only had 19 in our class [probably about 80 percent of us went from the first grade all the way through high school. I do enjoy the class reunions.

I have never missed a class reunion. I was the class president and felt obligated to keep things going. This year will be our 65th reunion. Last year only 12 of us made it. Seems like we lose one each year. Might be our last year this year.
Got a photo from a speeding camera in the mail. I immediately sent it back - way too expensive and really poor quality.

It is really sad that so many on here look back on their high school years as a time they would prefer to forget.
High school was a good time in my life with many fond memories of classmates and teachers. It was not all roses but the good times out weighed the not so good by a long way. The sports, clubs and friendships nurtured were a special time.

Keith Left WA in APRIL got to MICH in AUG and if you think it takes time to cross MT and ND in a car try it horseback takes forever dayum those are big states, but full of friendly / helpful people.

The sports, clubs and friendships nurtured were a special time. Looking back after a long life packed with many different and varied experiences it is funny how a few years of high school has been ingrained in people. It is definitely a formative period in the big picture. For some good for others something not so good. A lot of the conversations at the re unions with the ones you havent seen in decades besides the remincing about the antics back in the day is about their family, kids grandkids etc.
