Great photo, Mike! I used to see that where the muddy Mississippi joined the St. Croix near where I used to live.

We have not had enough rain around us to make a puddle let alone change the color of any water bodies.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

We got a fair amount in the last week and over 2.5 inches on Thursday alone. My last food plot was under water so I had to wait to get it prepped. Thankfully the bad storms have avoided us.

Muskrat, that’s lot of sediment and nutrients going down the river. Mostly runoff from farm fields or is it a lot of bank erosion too?

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning to dance in the rain!

Sheefish? Can't be the same sheepish we have here in Alaska.

At the confluence of the Mississippi R and the Missouri R the river runs like that for a couple of miles all the time.

Mostly farm field runoff.

It's interesting to view confluences of streams that flow into the lower Wisconsin river. Most streams are clear and when they join the Wisconsin River it's like clear water alongside dark tea from the tannins upstream for awhile
