Hello. So these wonderful new bugs started showing up here about 5 years ago. I had heard of them before their arrival. Question: What has worked to kill/keep them off of apple/peach/cherry trees? Thank you for your time.

Turkey, I have been using the traps for the Japanese pests. I only have to deal with them on our landscape plants. No, they are not 100% effective, but they keep the damage to a minimal level. I only have to hang them once and not have to do repeated sprays. You can find them on Amazon or probably Walmart. I've wondered about the milky spore treatment on the yard, but I'm not sure how it would affect beneficials like earthworms.

We don't have them here but I've heard that the traps are so effective at calling them from far that they can actually hurt you more than help.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
