That biologist has never seen a territorial ticked off beaver.
Your best bet is generally to “toss it pretty far”……….lol

Had one last summah ....slapping his tail repeatedly and swimming

Closer & Closer while I made a set with a 330.

Was able to keep my eye on him ..as I made a second set.

Tail still slapping..

I quickly open up my jar of back breaker....and put a stink stick

Right behind that 330... Nose level with the water...backed out of the water..

And hid behind a tree about 20 yaahds away...

And watched that beaver go right into that 330 in less than a minute

I can verify that Cold, Wolfie and I decided to get together down in the bayou to have a few Lone stars this past weekend and things got a little out of control when I inadvertently opened a pint of Backbreaker so that Wolfie could get a sniff of the good stuff.

Great weekend!

Every year I post this old video at least once. Same thing happened to me but I got my phon out.
Lil shout out to Dobbins Wood Chipper. Within seconds of cracking that jar there was a dead beaver……lol
