Made a hard decision to finally clean out decades of treasures from my fur shed. Have traps from the 60’s when I trapped muskrats before school, 70’s and eighties when I thought you weren’t a coon trapper unless you were in water, 90’s and early 2000’s when I learned land coon were bigger and dryer and beaver were fun. Also you catch a ton of possums when land trapping coons. Next came dog proofs along with some coyotes traps. The result is a trailer full of a variety of different traps heading to the NTA. Still have to try to price everything. If anyone has a good idea of were I should start message me. One of the memories was triggered when I looked in an old box and came across a #4,3 and 1 1/2 longs ring and number 2
coil spring Pioneer. They were part of a grubstake (remember those) I won. Ludy Sheda donated them. Most unusable trap I ever saw. They are junk traps that were never used. wonder if they
have any collector value. Anyway hope to see some of you at the NTA. Look in the tailgater area for a big guy with a red dodge pickup, white enclosed trailer, and a bunch of traps and other trapping treasures.

Paying yard sale price's for each golden memory, lol. Im not doing all that, Shelly can figure out what is what after im gone, be her retirement account. I found a Sterling the other day in some stuff, no clue when or where i got that, didn't even know i owned one.

Joe, We are getting to that age when a good clean out might be a move in the right direction.
I just got two large barrels that I poured several milk crates of traps into to save some space....and I need more barrels.

Was holding out until coon prices went up since majority of my traps are coon traps. Giving up. Don’t think it’s going to happen in my lifetime. Lauri said if I didn’t start cleaning out that shed ( it’s 45 x 55) and has a whole lot more than traps, she would get a dumpster when I’m gone on a fishing trip and do it herself. Can’t imagine all my treasures going in a dumpster. Bad thing is I can’t stop treating them as my own. Even though I know they are leaving I find myself fixing and replacing triggers and cables that are bad.

Feeling that this may be my last Mn.convention - I am adding a bunch of my traps to what I usually sell at a convention.--I can hardly move in my basement and have yet to bring in all my footholds let alone all my 330s.
My problem is vehicle size.
