Can one of you Indians explain to me what daylight savings has to do with blankets?

People use analogies of things that they know about. Like a Indian would know about blankets. Kinda like a truck driver would use a "feather, brick, dump truck" analogy to describe stress. Ignored early warnings (a feather) escalate to bigger problems (a brick) and finally crash into you like a dump truck.

As was said, if DJT is for it, the Senate may vary well reject it. But should the Senate pass it as it stands from the House; the President still needs to sign the bill to make it the law of the land.

When I worked, we had core hours ... meaning your presence was required between a set of hours on the face of the clock. When you started or ended didn't matter as long as you were available between core hours and you put your total weekly time in. No, the facility didn't utilize a constantly moving production line as in the auto industry. Businesses and schools will somehow adjust.

I like it because now don’t have to get up so early to get into the stand by daylight! Plus you guys forget it’s dark by 5 pm in winter? Also anyone that is actually up early knows better than “dark until 9 am “ crap they are spitting out. Want proof ? Here’s a pic 2 minutes before I shot this deer. Can’t set the time since it’s done by gps built in. With new change it will be 8:12 am instead of fall back to 7:12 am. Yes day will be some shorter by December 20. But it will be light enough here in Ky.

Since standard time is better for ones health, .gov will do the opposite. Wonder which the pharmaceutical lobby prefers?

Yes daylight gets shorter on or around June 21. On average you lose 1 minute of daylight each day until December 21. Then you start gaining it back But the day is the same length 24 hours
Hey maybe this will clear it up You have a Rick of wood 24 ft long. You take 1 foot of the end of it and move it to the front. Still 24 ft long

I'm just glad I won't have to wake up as early, (or at least feel earlier) for hunting and trapping in the winter.

I'm OK with either time. Just don't like changing it every year.

If we all change our light bulbs and drive electric cars we can change the weather. Maybe there's something similar we can do to change the amount of light every day.

Seems that they can't figure out that if you want more daylight after work start work earlier

They need to get rid of all those stupid man made time zones also-sick od always changing the clocks every time you have to cross one.
