I found this big guy for a steal on Mercari. The lady said he was taken in the upper peninsula of Michigan.
I was not in the market for one but I’ll never get one for such a good price and I’ve given up the ridiculous idea of owning a polar bear rug. Very happy with this guy.
Yes he’s staying on the floor. That’s where I like him!!

You could always cover the walls with fur and rub the furry walls
It's really helpful if you just had a Jeffrey grin

Nice, I had the first bear I killed turned into a rug. He hangs in “The Hall of Death” as my daughter says, or The Shortt Natural History Museum as I call it. One of my favorite trophies.

There's huge taxidermy auctions at Mt. Hope, Ohio where you can likely buy a polar bear rug.

I think a bear rug is so classy. Prob too classy for me! Would be cool to have a study with books all over and a fireplace and a nice big bear laying there!

I am certain I could never afford it. But that is interesting. I think they have to be before 1972 to legally own in the US?

I was once there right before the auction. The amount, quality and variety of mounts, hides and rugs being brought in was amazing.

Good for you. Looks like a good rug also. Never can have to many animals in the house.

Great looking rug.
Are the claws still on it?
