Guys,, what’s the science??
I do like them on the grill,,, but the dang things taste better on a hot dog roller.
I tried putting them in the oven, using the air fryer, etc,, they just don’t taste the same.
You’d think that heat was heat,,, but apparently not the case.
I know the quality of the hot dog matters too.

It's because the hotdog gnomes designed the rollers.

Because the rollers are picked clean by the cockroaches at night in the convenience store

If'n I'm forced to eat one, its going to be over an open flame such as a bonfire...

My guess is gravity. More juice stays in when they’re spinning.

Cooked more evenly?
Better texture?
