warrior OP trapper Joined: Jan 2007 Georgia	So, I spotted some in Publix today. So decided to see what all the fuss is about. Good but nothing to write home about. Nice ginger bite but way too much sugar. Buffalo Rock still reigns in my book for ginger ale. Red Rock a close second.

Rusty Axe Camp trapper Joined: Aug 2007 Midland, Michigan	Vernor's changed in the 90's when they got bought by Dr Pepper (I think) They don't use real ginger anymore and it got way syrupier. Maybe they switched to high fructose corn syrup vs the original cane sugar. Hardly any bite to it now. Growing up in MI it was prescribed for every tummy ache. Now, I hate to say it, but I grab the fancy pants Boylan Ginger Ale when I need it. Erik Johnson

After decades of not having tasted Vernors I had a taste 2 weeks ago and immediately wondered (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) was this crap! Did not even recognize the stuff!
