That is odd! The day this post was made a week or two ago I looked at it and it was mostly shown as anonymous people reading posts.... but I still think a lot of that was bots because there were soooo many of them and looking at posts from years ago or odd sub-forums... not the main forums. I just looked now and it's still as you posted....... almost all anonymous people "logging in". Must be a new tactic!!

There’s a way to greatly reduce it, but it’ll lock out non members and won’t show up at the top of google trapping searches.

Taking between 30-50 seconds to load a page for me. I'm spoiled though, it usually only takes about 2.

LOL. I posted that and it timed out so I had to resubmit it to get it to go.

And then once I did....... now it's loading lightening fast. Weird.

Don't spend time in the summer waiting for T-man to load. Go kill something and have more fun! Prairie dogs, marmots, groundhogs, coyotes. Let them have their fun and go have some of your own!

google hasn't been indexing/showing T-man pages for a while now.

I tried searching “trapping forum” on google. For me over here, Tman is right on top, I add Canada to the search and ours is on top. Even though Mark keeps the bots at bay, it still pops up……..in Canada anyway.

yes, but it doesn't search inside the forum. A few months ago it only yielded a handful of results, probably from older cache, and now there are none. It stopped searching inside the Canadian forum, too, and it used to until recently. Here's a search request that used to yield a ton of results.





Before that, searching the forum using google was more convenient than using the built-in search using the "site:" function. It doesn't work anymore. They still have the functionality, it works with other sites:







however, it appears to be severely moderated/truncated. Some websites are shown only partially in the search results, or only the home page pops up. It probably has more to do with google encrappification and ad marketing greed/algorithms than with t-man settings or thematics.

duckduckgo indexes everything and works well (so far), and only places a couple of paid results on top:
