Spent a couple hours there on my way west. This guy flagged me down and wanted a pic with me, some Paul guy. He insisted I buy a hoodie and they’re pretty cool so I did………lol. Now I’m fooling around near his playground for a week or so.


Bills got a cool shirt, took one of them home….

I stopped taking scenic pics as they just don’t do the place justice. Those of you who’ve been to Little Bighorn battlefield know what it’s like. Oddly enough, there’s not too much for movies on it, a few documentaries though.

Darrel glad you said hi on the way in. I'd like to have been able to be a minute during the show but between working the gate and the grand kids running me ragged I barely had time for much else

Exactly, was there 2 hours on Saturday around noon, saw no one. I think they were all sleeping in Huerd's teepee.

What, if we knew you were coming we would have rolled out the carpet! Would have been nice to meet you.

You should have seen it 45-50 years ago. There was a dirt pull off the road, a wood sign that said Custer died there. Not much else.

Huerd was a no show. What time did you roll in?

I was at the gate until noon and then fed the kids.

I’ll be coming next year. Even when if I’m super busy, it’s nice knowing there’s always a big convention close by that I can hit even if it’s only for a few hours………but you run into one fella that you know, just one, and it’ll tie you up for an hour or more. Even meeting strangers who trap, like in Cody, the conversation just jumps around and the wives are getting ticked off as they wanna go…..lol.
Next time, I think I’ll come home with one of Dukes bear traps. Tough to beat $370USD up here.

Next year will be almost an hour and half closer for you.
