If you have ever torn out many beaver dams by hand, you can probably relate to how much fun it is to watch somebody else do it! lol I spent last Thursday showing the hoe/ excavator where a ditch was and where the dams were. Good operator on a new Cat 313. Cleared the road/ ditch bank and got all the dams out. I just followed him on my wheeler and grinned! Took 32 beaver out of here last February on a contract.

That's one of the few nice things to watch on u-tube. Some of those operator's are flat out great. Watch the video's where they pick up fresh eggs, move them, then set them back down.

It's always great watching someone GOOD at what they do... We had a good operator when we were removing derelict boats, when he was done he'd pick up floating "boat debris" with the bucket, lol

Several years ago I got permission to trap a ditch. Landowner told that wildlife services had already cleaned them out. Caught 30 more on top of the six that wildlife services had taken.

Guess who had the contract at this location, the last three years?

JK and Bob,
Better Cat than rat. The hoe operator even limbed the side of a couple balsam, leaving a bunch of bows for later assembly. LOL

This operator has been building a breakwall out on Lake Erie.
I watched him move and fit rock with precision off a barge with waves moving him all the time
