Seems a great way to case a house and visable contents Give them a 5 gal bucket with a plastic bag lining it even a partial roll of paper but not coming in the house.and they take the bag with them when they leave.

Bob I live by you. Have not heard about gypsies in 25 years. Now the Canadians, and porch pirates are a everyday occurrence.

Another time, opening day of deer season, I came home from hunting and my Bride said some daypack wearing hiker/hitch hiker guy stopped at the house (we lived on a state hwy at the time) and asked if he could use the john....said it was serious. The wife told him to use the woods as well. A few days later I was back behind the house in the woods and behind a brushpile I found the guys jeans and BVD's! He'd puffed his britches and must have had a change in his daypack because he left the ones he filled with crapola. Tens of thousands of acres of woods in my county.....can't imagine going to a strangers door and asking to use their crapper. Takes all kinds.

I wouldn't either. I've had a few times I fertilized a farmer's corn field or stood behind a tree in a woods. I'd feel stupid asking someone if I could use their toilet.

Good reason to have an old outhouse on your property
