Any of you guys have one of these machines? I went to look at a new Polaris ranger and the 2 dealerships I went too said to look at the can am. So the wife and I did and it seems like a nice machine and that heated cab would be nice to run the line in. Just wondering if anyone had anything good or bad to say about them

Which ever one you get, YES, get a heated cab.. Makes life so much better. Also, make sure there's a windshield wiper.

Regardless of what brand you decide one, make sure you have a reliable dealership close. Having said that, I'm neighbor has the CanAm Defender and loves it. His only regret was he got the 2 passenger and not the 4 but is thinking about getting a second one and that would be the 4 passenger. I have the CanAm Outlander ATV and have no regrets with it. The day comes that I upgrade it will be the Defender.

I also have a 2022 Can Am 850 Outlander 2-up and I have had no complaints, but it has only been used to ride the trails.

My buddy purchased two defenders.

The first one he ended up selling it because he wasn`t using it that much. However, he later purchased another one not too long after. He had no issues with the first one and same for the new one. They are nice machines but as you know, very expensive.

Good luck!

I have a 2025 model HD10
I have nearly 5000 miles on it already trapping professionally for ranches
From the swamps of the Tx coast to the deserts of Laredo

So far so good

They are all way over priced plastic, but for what I do I wouldn’t want to be without one

I’ve ran the Kawasaki, and the Honda pioneer. Pros and cons to each

But the Can-am makes a pretty good cab with heat and air.

Being a CanAm owner though a Commander not a Defender can say a heater not really needed as at least with mine you get all the heat needed to keep you comfortable in the winter especially if you have the fully enclosed cab

I have a 2021 Can Am Defender HD 10.. I bought it stock with 650 miles on it. Mine now has 15,400 miles. Last 2 weeks it has been using oil and overheating. Took it to the dealership and he said it probably the rings. So now its getting a rebuilt motor put in it. Before that the only problem I had is a blown belt

Man that sucks on the new engine bet that isnt cheap. Most of the reviews seem pretty good but dang I would hope it would of lasted longer than that. I just know my 07 ranger is getting tired. It needs some work and I just dont know if I want to keep throwing money into it. I will say the a/c in the can am was nice on the test drive we did yesterday

The dealer said its pretty common the on can am's around the 15k mark. He said they did 3 engines with the same problem as mine had last month. The engine and labor is $6k.

Invest in shock therapy. Youll be glad you did with your can am, it will improve the ride times ten.
