Had a male secretary/book keeper at work that was always reading a Louis L'Amour book.He had them all.I called him Louis L'Amour.One day I brought in a saddle and strapped it to his chair before he got to work.Bout spit his coffee out when he walked in.We all had a good laugh.

Years ago I actually went to where the story took place and spent a good bit of time riding through and around the area, while Louie stretched the facts about some things such as the hidden hideout it was still a fascinating place and worth the trip

It's a shame he pasted on while writing a second part to the book, "Last of the Breed" .Always wondered if that pilot took a second scalp. If you read that book you know what I mean.
