Do any of you have any pepper jelly recipes you like?

I have around a dozen types of apples and 8 types of peppers to experiment with. I'll be making some pepper jelly to eat, some to give away and some to sell. I'll be making multiple batches as more peppers come on.

We are making muscadine jelly right now, or I would ask my wife about her pepper jelly. My favorite, though, is jalapeño peach jam. Not only is it great on smoked cream cheese, etc - mixed with just a little barbecue sauce to thin it, fantastic on wings, chicken and pork on the grill

I would be interested in the recipe for jalapeño peach jam too.

Keith if you're on face book, there's a bunch of canning sites and thousands of recipes.
Rebel canners is a good one, but there's also many different Rebel canning sites .
Cowboy candy is well known on almost all canning sites, almost as many different recipes as sites.

My wife always uses her little nuances but doesnt alway write them down.

We use the peach jalepeno as a barbecue sauce. Wife mixes a small amount of sweet baby rays and teriyaki sauce with the jam to thin it up some for brushing on meat - chicken and pork mainly. Great on wings

Cowboy candy is good. Smash it up and itd be a jelly. I keep fruit jars of it to add to chile or whatever. There is extra syrup when your done. I jar that up too, it makes a good ingredient when your making something that needs spice but can't have peppers b/c peppers are scary to some. lol.

1 to 2 lbs fresh jalapeño peppers (sliced into thin rings)2 cups granulated white sugar1/2 to 1 cup apple cider vinegar1 tsp garlic powder1/2 tsp ground turmeric (for color)1/4 tsp celery seed or mustard seed (optional)

I second this 100%. Grew way too many jalapeños and habeneros this year and did this just to try to use some up. Its fantastic. The peppers on a burger and the sauce over grilled shrimp have become 2 of my absolute favorites.
