My sister told me she was watching “ oh god” with George burns and John Denver yesterday while she was doing her dialysis.
I had never seen it,, so.. I decided to watch it because the cubs had an off day and no game.
It was actually pretty darn good,,,
How would you actually be able to convince someone that you really truly did have a clear back and forth conversation with god??
I don’t know if it would be tougher today than it was in 1977 when it originally came out.

Stand by your principles, Stand by your guns, and victory complete and permanent is sure at last.

I watched a movie, 1944 on you tube. Pretty darn good if you like war movies, set in Estonia as German troops were being pushed out by the Russians.

I think the last newer one I liked was Top Gun Maverick. I hadn’t been to a theatre in about 30 years, but was waiting for this one to go back and try. Not going to the threaten again, but great movie.
I’m waiting for the new Rambo movie next summer. It’s been way too long since there’s been a good Nam movie.
Right now I’m watching a bunch of CIA series. The Agency, Night Agent, Lioness…….cant forget about the new season of Reacher.
I saw the old original movie West World a few months back. For early 70s, it’s way better than the new series about it that just came out.

… deliverance was great for obvious reasons … I mean it was sad when the locals got kilt … but the film can be credited with keepin city folk out of the woods up here for decades

… I only watched broke back mountain because my hero Jtrap was a stunt double in it

For current year, I think Project Hail Mary is hands-down my favorite.
