Fresh sweet corn, locally grown, and lake Michigan salmon, grilled over charcoal on a cedar plank, drizzled with a maple syrup sauce.
Sometimes I surprise myself.

Interesting. Never thought about maple syrup on fish but it sounds good.

Saw it on a cooking show a while ago. They cooked a muskie in the ground. They filled the muskie with syrup and wild rice. That looked good.

Nice! Maple glazed salmon is a classic. Also nice how it plays off the color of your placemats. I'll bet that was good!
