You asked a question. Have you ever designed a transmission, distribution, line, or a substation, or modeled a electric utility distribution network? Have you ever lived off the grid. Much of Alaska is off the Alaska grid and Alaska is off the North America grid. IMHO data centers are putting the cart before the horse. This is going to be problematic. They certainly would benefit from supplying thier own power, however the cost won’t come cheap and supply will be delayed.

I agree, nuclear is the future. However, one must analyze where the uranium comes from for such power generation. I believe you produce less than 1% of the uranium you use. Nuclear doesn’t really fit the we don’t need anything from anybody narrative.

The US has 1% of all uranium in the world, mining is the ?

Nuclear warhead's have uranium in them, and we have a few warhead's
It would need to be reprocessed for power plants
So we have the material

I think we are facing bigger problems in this country than AI data centers and the government watching us.
