Being born in 1980 911 is mine. I was Ironworking as an apprentice Iron woker puting in rebar at the Princeton Indiana Toyota plants 2nd phase expansion for Delta Steel. The boss came around with paper put out by toyota simply saying the time and aircraft hit the towers and air traffic was grounded. Nothin more. This was before I had cell phone and other than noticing it was odd not having a single airplane in the sky I didnt think anything about it untill I got home and my girlfriend( now wife) had the TV on and I saw it for myself for the first time and understood.

Never forget. Got my USA flag a flying in the fog. Sad day in history be glad when the AB add is posted love the tribune. Since PF posted where he was at. I was in NW Mo teal hunting. Head report on radio. Drove 80 mph back to NE Mo to get to a tv. Passed several state police no officer stopped me.

I was working on a quite side street with a bunch of houses on it. Next thing I knew the whole block came alive with people talking back and forth. Watched the jet that crashed in Pa. make a real tight half circle and fly away. My flag is at half mast like it is every 9-11.

I was Underground and when I got top side it was playing in the Break room and Locker room. It was shocking and Startling. The sad thing is that it will probably be repeated with our open Border policies. We have no idea who came in at all.

The Alaska T-1 Incident Management Team mobilized to NYC to aid in recovery efforts. Even we wildland fire folks were involved! A memorable assignment to be sure. Unlike the fires, floods, earthquakes and other natural disasters that we normally get called on to deal with.

Wife's cousin's husband was killed in the towers. He made phone calls to his wife and mother saying he was not getting out. My oldest daughter is a teacher and her school lost over 20 parents, one from her class.
We live 60 miles from the site but could see the smoke from here.
Now 25 years later NYC has a Muslim Commie mayor. God help us.
