That's a good one anywhere. Nice second shot. Are you done for the year or can you still go play in the woods?

I'm willing to bet that one way or the other, he's not done for the year, lol.

Congratulations on a great looking buck!

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

In Ohio you are only allowed one buck. Is that a NC deer? Holy smokes if it is. They aren't like that around Charlotte. More German Shepard size. Buckshot was legal to hunt them with sized critters.

A fella in our state trappers association is the measuring agent for Pope and Young/Boone and Crockett in our area. I already sent him the deer pics and my green score sheet. He's gonna come measure it after the 60 day drying period

So Awesome

Congratulations

Congratulations on your best bow kill buck. Sounds like a great hunt that could not have worked out any better unless it ran to your truck.

You’d be correct! I’ve got another buck tag and we get basically unlimited doe tags. I try to kill 4-5 deer a season because that’s predominately what we eat throughout the year.

Yes, this was an NC buck

Gotta live up to the nickname...
