Yep! Simplistic Folgers classic real! My first one was a 16oz. Dr Pepper bottle lol

The two-tone bow is a pieced together Pearson 306 (55#)
The one is a Bunyan 100 in 50#

I like to hit em hard around late may when they are spawning.. not unusual to get 2 and even 3 sometimes with one shot.
I pressure can em.
One way I can them they turn out identical to canned tuna..
The other way is identical to canned salmon.
On a good afternoon during the spawn I can wind up with 50-75 carp easily.
You can stack up the fish in a hurry

Coldspring, I always wanted to hit the trinity sometime and go after some bigger gar. The white river over here near where it dumps into the Arkansas suppose to have some biggins.

Around this farm country, too much pesticides run off into the water so I don’t eat many of the gar. Sometimes save the carp for bait.

Are you far enough south that you have carp there?

Son in law’s bow fishing rig. We have murdered them before. Carp, buffalo, bowfin, reds, gar, sheepshead. Good times

I live along the Susquehanna River and those boats with all those lights were a overly common sight up until the last few years. There was a bow fishing tournament somewhere on the river from April thru October
Some of the cash and prizes were quite large, so now the river doesn't have much of a carp population anymore

I really did enjoy shooting them when I was younger and could wade the river
