My kid went last year to the big one in Munich. Said he never puked so much in his life. Guess the serving sizes are pretty big.

My wife founded one of the thnic Festivals in Milwaukee. I will not tell you how much she put into that Festival but she was the most Proud of anyone I now of. She had a few Hundred Thousand attend the first year of a three day Festival. She put thousands of Hours into that first season. I can only Imagine what kind of work goes into Oktoberfest or Summerfest.

Full liter is the size of the mugs. Those frauleins that serve can tote a dozen at a time. I've been and the bier is hauled in by the tanker truck.

There is a little German town about 2 hours away called Hermann they do all kinds of thing every weekend. Went on our anniversary 1 year it was fun, and good food as well.

If you like Atlanta traffic crammed onto narrow mountain roads there Helen, Ga that bills itself as a bavarian town in Georgia.

Been through there once on a July 4th weekend. Even the creek through town was jammed bank to bank with tubers. Took the better part of an hour to drive through.

There's literally at least many hundreds and probably over a thousand Oktoberfests in Ohio. Most Ohioans, myself included, are of German ancestry. Some cities and towns in Ohio are over 90% German descent, making them much more German than Germany now.
