Green Bay has a group of dedicated shore anglers known as Monster Squad. They target trophy walleyes and muskies. They usually fish all night long with the best action between 3 and 4 am. Kind of funny when some guys are getting up early to hit the dawn bite and Monster squad is about calling it quits for the day.

Used to bass fish till after dark then go frog gigging. Those were some great times. Now I mostly shore cast for walleyes during the full moon period. Almost screamed like a little girl a few times. Ya look down and there's a big old coon looking right at you. One time had an otter swim right up to me and do that chat bark noise they make. Things like that make life interesting.

In my defense I was left Unsupervised

In these parts night fishing for bass is about it. TOO many buckeyes on the lake with their wake boats and cruisers to fish. Get your guts beat out plus too hot.

Musky fishing after dark with a topwater lure can be pretty exiting.

Fishing for anything with top waters after dark is very exciting. You hear the splash and wait to feel the weight before setting the hook. Or sometimes you just can’t wait and set the hook anyhow. LOL

Eh...wot?

Yes one lake we have walleye on since I was a small kid. You'd be lucky to catch a fish there before dark.
