HobbieTrapper OP "Chippendale Trapper" Joined: Dec 2008 Eastern Shore of Maryland	Contest. I buried the fish guts and such maybe 2’ deep. I covered using a different shovel to keep the dirt “clean”. I used sand from a different area for the last foot of fill and the finish. This is how it looks after the sun beating down on it dried it out and the wind has blown it around. How many days will it take a critter to find it AND dig it up? MChewk trapper M Joined: Dec 2006 Northern Illinois	Hobbie, a guy could run a thin piece of pvc from the bottom where the food is to the top as a vent hole for fur trapping to expedite things. We don't have that sandy ground to work with here but I have even used a soft drink straw before to create such a vent hole in our soil. It didn't take long before they found it.
