Since canines are attracted to mink glands, would mink meat work as a good base for canine bait?

I used to make big bait piles for wolves and wolverine up in Alaska. Mostly to attract loud birds like ravens, magpies, Bald Eagles and such. Their racket would, (hopefully), attract the predators and scavengers to the area.
I threw most of my carcasses, (mink, otter, marten, etc.), onto those piles. The mink and marten would get eaten by the birds and other animals but not much touched the otter. Even when wolf tracks covered the area, most of the time, the otter were still there.
So I would suppose a mink carcass, or hind end, (I would bury it, myself), would probably work well.
