Why my dr. has taken me off BP meds. I’ve been watching the grandson quite a bit lately and he has me on a strict regiment of…….

Rolling out 7 colors of Playdough for Hotwheel car impressions 120 times each…..with the smallest rolling pin ever made. (Talk about increasing grip strength)
20 minutes of pushing him on each swing on the swing set.
20 minutes of jumping on the trampoline.
20 minutes give or take of running in circles on the trampoline
Getting down and up from the floor at least 100 times throughout the day.

For the record, each of these have gotten easier than the first few days. lol

Just wait till he gets his hands on a small shovel and starts digging holes to catch critters. BUT wait,, It gets better. They soon discover that they can use the side of the shovel chop down small trees. And YES,, I loved every minute of it. Enjoy, they grow up way to fast.

How old is your grandson Hobbie? We have a 2 year old gandaughter which we have at our house every Saturday until noon on Sunday. She is high energy and demands our participation in playing with her. We had her over for 3 days and 4 nights over Labor Day weekend.
I think the wife slept for 3 days afterwards. The first day I went in and made a bunch of noise and had the yellow lab jump on bed and she didn't move one bit, then I poked her with a stick to make sure she was still with us. I hear tell you won't sposed to touch dead people, so...

Before the number one disease in this country was obesity, everyone was on blood medicine, and kids were tethered to electrical devices, it was common for a home, particularly rural homes, to be multi-generational, and all family members helped raise kids. I believe that had benefits for all involved. We have nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and eight dogs in ours. I'm watching my oldest sons dog as I type this, my two Springers help with that also! LOL Holidays are total commotion/chaos!!

I have a seven year old grand daughter who's mother swears her behavior deteriorates every time she's at our house. She blames me and is absolutely right, of course.
