Congrats BREWERS, what a year !!!!!!!

I was happy they won, but even happier they wiped out the overpriced, high paid Dodgers all 4 games in a row. A great team, that's for sure.

It's too bad Bob Ucker didn't get to see it. I wish he could have.

Brewers bested Tampa…
It was the wrong time for Tampa to have a bad week .
All baseball teams have bad weeks…
I was rooting for them.
But they simply didn’t show up..junior didn’t hit a single homer despite the 40 plus homers during the regular season.

Milwaukee had an incredible pitching staff from starters to relievers… that’s the basis for having a seriously competitive team… brewers also had timely hitting.
Every one on that team was hitting. Usually you have 2 or 3 guys on a team you try to pitch around.. wasn’t that case with Milwaukee.
I hate to admit it… but the brewers had a phenomenal team.

If the miz doesn’t blow out his arm and keeps his command and speed in the coming seasons ( if there’s no lockout)
He’s going to be a hall of famer.

Youngest team in the MLB. Great to have the best farm system in the MLB. We will see what the starting line up looks like next spring. They need to find another couple more consistant starting pitchers.
We had shakey nineth innings in several games. That needs some addressing. The middle relief is the best in the MLB. Contact hitting, on base percentage and speed make a lower power line up work well.

I saw the trophy live at lambeau last night. A bunch of Brewers came out of the tunnel with it. Was pretty cool.

Saw on the news about the turn out for the parade.. not a bad showing,,, estimated 750,000.
Cubs still have a bigger turnout… the seventh largest gathering in the the world.
I still think counsel was the problem with the brewers not making it very far in the past… now we stuck with him.
Wish the Cubs would admit to a mistake and eat the contract.
But alas,,, here’s to a competitive cubs/brewers rivalry next season.
