Are you guys seeing a crazy amount of ticks in your neck of the woods? I would have thought that our winter weather would have been enough to kill off a goodly amount,,, but wow. And it seems to be the tiny ones too. I never really messed with any kind of bug spray to keep them off,,, but this year is going to be different. I honestly don’t believe I’ve ever experienced this many ticks. Luckily none were attached… and this whole alpha gal thing those ticks carry ,,,is absolutely scary to a carnivore.

permethrin, permethrin, and then some more permethrin. permethrin , say it again , soak all your outer layers in it pants , shoes , jackets , over shirts , hats let them dry
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

2 or 3 every day off my dog ? Is there anything that keeps them off ? Glad she's white colored, helps with the tick search . Mostly little ones on her.

Gotta find a way, a better way, I'd better wait

My wife has a friend that lives in St. Louis and has all her life. I was laughing yesterday because her dog had a tick and she was upset and took it to the vet.

It was 15 degrees this morning, so the ticks are still slow. When I trapped in the spring I would have 10-20 a day crawling on me and the dog would have 30-60 at the peak.. I would have a couple bit on pretty much every day. When I would get in the PU in the morning there would be four or five crawling around in side it. You are not going to die if a tick is crawling on you or bit on. The secret is not leaving them bit on for a couple days. I did spray my cloths too and it helped.

Thank you. I'll check it out when I get back to town. First thing I think about when she jumps on my furniture and bed. Lol
